The Sunrise & Skylines VIP package is $499 + tax per night.
This price includes: One‑night hotel stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott – Medicine Hat Evening and morning VIP trolley transportation – 2 guests Curated onboard goodies and treats Access to unforgettable sunrise launches, evening glow events, and key festival moments  Is transportation included? Yes. Transportation is part of the experience. VIP guests enjoy evening and morning trolley service to and from: Balloon launch fields Evening balloon glow events Festival activities throughout the city The ride itself is designed to be memorable, complete with special treats and surprise goodies onboard.

Unfortunately, flights are not available as part of the Sunrise & Skylines VIP Experience. However, guests enjoy the next best thing — up‑close access for perfect photo opportunities and the chance to meet the pilots face‑to‑face, making for an unforgettable and immersive experience.

 Can locals book the VIP package, or is it only for out‑of‑town guests?

Absolutely — locals are welcome and encouraged to book. The Sunrise & Skylines experience is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy Rise Up without worrying about parking, schedules, or crowds. It’s a perfect option for couples, friends, or locals looking to experience the festival in a new way.

The Friday Night Experience places you right in the heart of Saturday’s community celebrations.  Is availability limited?

Yes — very limited. VIP packages are capped to preserve the quality of the experience, and hotel rooms are held exclusively until the booking deadline.  Last day to book: Monday, May 11, 2026. We strongly recommend booking early to avoid missing out.
