Ryan Oscar
Director of Operations & Education
Ryan is a resilient advocate for addiction recovery, and serves as the host of our podcast, "From Darkness to Life." His journey commenced with a cross-Canada bicycle expedition in 2015, which propelled him into the realm of addiction counseling and support programs. Co-founding OCJ in 2020, he directs his efforts towards recovery coaching and advocacy. Through his work, Ryan underscores the importance of proactive resilience in reshaping life trajectories, epitomizing the transformative potential of recovery.

Schneider-Pichette
Director of Coaching & Programs
Tara, a seasoned professional in nonprofit organizations, specializes in addiction, mental health, and domestic violence support. With a Diploma in Addiction/Community Service Work and certifications as a Recovery Coach, she has driven impactful initiatives, including introducing recovery coaches to schools. Tara's personal journey fuels her compassionate aid, utilizing the "Brain Story" framework to guide individuals toward healing and transformation.

With a background in mental health programming and local government, she has valuable experience in policy navigation and grant funding.
